Rolando 9A3MR – Team Leader
This is Rolando’s fourth DXPedition (TO19A, 5W0LM, TX9A). He brings much-needed calm to the team, is responsible for the antennas and budget, and as the team leader, he knows exactly what everyone on the team is doing and delegates tasks on time.
9A2NA Mladen
Mladen is an excellent all-around operator, whether he is active on the human modes or FT8. With his calm approach, he brings quality to the team, and after three successful DXpeditions (TO19A, 5W0LM, and TX9A), this is a new challenge for him. Besides the SSB pileups he enjoys, 50 MHz is his favorite band, which he especially enjoyed during the TX9A Austral Islands DXpedition.
9A3CJY Frane
This is a new experience for Frane. A 17-year-old young man who has the opportunity to travel with an experienced team and learn a great deal. As a team, we are very happy that he is joining us, and surely Rolando 9A3MR is the happiest of all because he has managed to keep the hobby within the family. His grandson is the one who will follow in his footsteps, and we are very confident about that.
9A4WY Kristijan
Our Mr. Greyline Operator. Kristijan is the one who persistently chased the greyline and optimal CONDX for Europe during the TX9A DXpedition. He is our human mode operator and a true CW enthusiast, as well as CW pile up operator. Alongside Rolando, he is also the team’s tech man, taking care of any small repairs that may be needed during our DXpedition.
Livio 9A7Y
Our good soul. Livio is the kind of team member every DXPedition would wish for: unassuming, modest, and calm, always responsible for keeping the good spirit alive and preparing meals. It is never difficult for him to step in and operate the station when everyone else is tired. The experience gained from previous DXpeditions (TO19A, 5W0LM, TX9A) is invaluable.
Zrinko (Zik) DK8ZZ, YT3ZZ, VE3ZIK – Co- leader
After fulfilling a childhood dream by operating from the Austral Islands, this is the next step forward. He is responsible for the PR surrounding the DXpedition and also serves as the QSL manager. Previous DXPeditions: A65DLH, XV2DLH, 8Q7LH, TX9A.
